Life Arcade is an album with a lot of different ideas and threads running throughout the songs. About half of the album is a collection of stories that take place in a fictional town, Winter Town. The other half are autobiographical, similar to the previous two albums. The goal was to make a album with a larger scope than the previous two albums, while still focusing on writing good, catchy songs.

Most of the lyrics were written on scrap sheets of paper on breaks at work, with chords and melodies being added in the evening. Plus, multiple versions of most of the songs were recorded before settling on these recordings.

Hopefully, the album will be a different, but enjoyable experience! Thanks for supporting my art!

This album was written in February and March, 2016. It was recorded on a tascam DP-004, except for tracks 2,8. All the songs are written and performed by Ashlynn Barker.
