Future Summers is a follow-up to Soft Hits, my last release in 2016. The songs for this album were written over the course of 10 months. A bunch of songs written for the album were ultimately left off, but I'll probably sort through the scraps and rework them for future releases.

This album is the first release I have worked on for more than a few months. I began recording back in May, and then in June, and then in August, and finally after scrapping everything I recorded the new recordings in my new apartment, mostly alone, with some good help from friends. This is probably the hardest I've worked on any release to make sure each song is really good! After all the work, I also realized how great loose, rough recordings are and why lo-fi isn't a bad word. Still, my goal was to make a lo-fi POP album with lots of parts and good stuff.

I'm really proud of this record, and I hope all the hard work shows! Thanks to everyone for the continued support! I'd still make stuff if I didn't have fans, but having some fans makes it worth it! <3
