Description: I wrote Cicada Song one night in June or July, when it was hot as hell in the living room I was sleeping in (on a futon). I wanted to make a song that was optimistic and upbeat. IT was one of the first songs I recorded for Soft Hits, and the first song I ever recorded a drum kit for (I literally taught myself how to play one beat just to record it for the song).
